The Prickly Pear Face Oil

Hey Friends,

Monica here! Wow, I am so excited to be finally writing this blog post today. For over a year now, I've been working really hard on formulating our Prickly Pear Face Oil, and it's almost ready for launch day (11/3). Hands down, this is my favorite product I've ever made, and it's been a game changer for my own skin - as I know it will be for yours, too.

As we age, our skin will show signs of aging such as loss of elasticity, fine lines & wrinkles, and dull & dry skin. Face oils are incredible for keeping the moisture barrier protected and glowing, and ours is no exception. We've formulated this oil with an incredible blend of botanicals that are packed with vitamins, antioxidants, and a major punch of hydration.

My favorite way to use our Prickly Pear Face Oil is by layering it with our Blue Tansy Cream or Sandalwood Cream. After cleansing and toning the skin, I apply 2-3 dropperfuls directly on the face and neck, give my skin a nice facial massage, and then follow with one of our face creams. The results have been incredible, and I've never received more compliments on my skin since using this product. I cannot wait for you to try it!

For those with oily skin and and who are prone to breakouts - fear not! We have formulated this oil to be a "dry oil" meaning that it rapidly absorbs into the skin, is light, and the oils we've chosen (prickly pear, rosehip, jojoba, frankincense, papaya) actually work to combat breakouts.

Here's a deeper dive into the key ingredients and their benefits:

Prickly Pear Oil: rapidly absorbed oil that's high in vitamins E & K. Reduces inflammation in the skin and prevents future skin damage and breakouts. Has properties that promote new collagen growth and can heal scarring.

Jojoba oil: not a true oil — a wax that moisturizes lightly without clogging pores. Lightly moisturizes and full of vitamin E compounds.

Frankincense Essential Oil: an incredibly diverse oil full of antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Helps to minimize fine lines, tighten the skin, and reduce breakouts. Stress reducer, rejuvenates tired and aging skin, and may help balance hormones. An amazing oil with numerous benefits for both the body and mind.

Rosehip: high in vitamins C, A, and F. Helps maintain a strong moisture barrier.

Raspberry Seed Oil: boosts collagen and elastin for firmer skin. May aid in healing eczema and psoriasis.

Papaya Seed Oil: high in vitamins, antioxidants, and enzymes. Reduces redness in the skin and helps even out skin tone.

Strawberry Seed Oil: a dry oil that absorbs quickly without clogging pores. Rich in antioxidants and vitamin E.

Squalane: moisturizing, anti-inflammatory, and can help protect from sun damage.

Seabuckthorn Oil: packed with vitamins, anti-inflammatory, and can assist in healing sun damage.
